I have been employed at Fletcher Allen Health Care for 34 years and I am currently the R&D Histotechnologist. I graduated from UVM with a bachelors of Biology in 2005. I am HT,HTL QIHC (ASCP) certified and I have been a member of the NSH since 1976. I have been an officer for the VT/NH Society of Histotechnology several times and I am currently the President. I have worked on several of the Region I Symposiums held in Vermont/New Hampshire. I am currently a grader for the HQIP in Chicago.
I live in South Burlington, Vermont with my husband Ralph. I have one daughter, Nicole and one son, Jason, a daughter in law, Liz and one very precious two year old grandson, Jackson.

I have been at Northwestern Medical Center just over 14 years. I became very interested in histology while working in the lab. I started taking the NAACLS accredited course through Indiana University in 2000 / 2001. Upon completion I was eligible to take the HT exam through the ASCP. I have been working in histology since 2000. Most recently I was promoted to Histology Section Specialist.
I have been an active member in the NSH since 2003 and involved with state and regional meetings as well. I am currently taking classes towards finishing my degree.

I have been working at Rutland Regional Medical Center for 11 years. I started my career in Nursing but swtiched to Histology. I received my Associates Degree from Castleton State College in 1999. I started working at RRMC as a lab tech aide. While working as lab tech aide I discovered the wonderful world of histology and received my HT in 2001. In May of 2009 I graduated from Castleton State College with my Bachelors Degree in Health Science and will take my HTL the summer of 2009. I live in Mendon ,VT with my two children, Skyler and Regan.

I went to St. Joseph's College and got a BS in Biology.
I later continued my education at UVM - finally finding my way into the histology lab. I started at FAHC in 2004 and passed my HT in 2006, HTL and QIHC in 2007. I am now a Senior Histotechnologist.
I live in Milton VT with my husband Patrick, our new super cute baby daughter Elliana, and our two terribly high maintenance cats Luther and Albert.

Steph graduated from UVM with a bachelors of science in Medical Laboratory Science. She started working at Fletcher Allen Healthcare as a lab assistant in the histology lab, and is now a Histotechnologist, HT certified.
This is her first office for the VT/NH Society of Histotechnology.
I live in Burlington and a proud owner of my first new home.

I’ve been working at Rutland Regional Medical Center for about 5 years as a Histotechnician. I originally started my career in a Animal Science. I have my A.A.S. in Animal Science and am a licensed Veterinary Technician in New York State. I then decided to continue my education and got by B.S. with a major in Histotechnology. I’m a HT (ASCP). I will be taking my HTL this summer 2009. Currently I’m taking on line courses to become a Medical Technologist. I live in Bomoseen, Vermont with my high school sweetheart of 13 years, Mike Hamous and our adorable little girl, Ayva Kaitlyn Hamous.
